At WorldEd Foundation, we proudly highlight young changemakers who embody our mission of creating Better Futures through education, leadership, and meaningful global action. Today, we spotlight Wijdane Saif, an exceptional volunteer intern from Morocco whose passion, dedication, and vision left a lasting mark on our Funding Acquisition Team.

A Journey Rooted in Purpose and Resilience
Wijdane is from Laayoune, in southern Morocco, a region where access to global opportunities can be limited. Growing up in this environment instilled in her a profound sense of resilience, ambition, and purpose. As a first-year Baccalaureate student with outstanding grades, she is also preparing for the SAT, TOEFL, and earning a diploma in International Relations—a testament to her commitment to building a future without borders.
“My community shaped me,” she shared.“The values of solidarity, mutual support, and empowerment inspire me to serve others and create opportunities for those who may not have access to them.”
Why She Chose WorldEd Foundation
Wijdane joined the WorldEd Foundation because our mission aligns with her deep belief in education equity, youth empowerment, and global collaboration.
As part of the Funding Acquisition Team, she worked on research, outreach, and partnership development—skills that strengthened her interest in diplomacy, international relations, and global youth leadership.
Her contributions helped support the growth of our BetterFutures Program and advanced our mission to make global education more accessible.
A Passion for Global Education & Equality
One of the issues closest to her heart is educational inequality.
She believes that education is the foundation of:
Leadership
Empowerment
Opportunity
Social and economic change
Her dream is to continue advocating for global equity through a career in International Relations, Diplomacy, or International Law, and eventually create an international youth-led organization focusing on education, debate, leadership, and empowerment.
A Vision for Youth-Led Global Impact
Through her internship at WorldEd Foundation, Wijdane strengthened her leadership, research, communication, and project development skills. She contributed meaningfully to our outreach, expanding the foundation’s global connections and supporting our mission with maturity and professionalism far beyond her years.
Her long-term goals include studying at universities such as:
Harvard
UPenn
Cornell
Seoul National University
And continuing to build initiatives that uplift young people across Africa and beyond.
Her Message to Young Changemakers
“Start where you are, with what you have. You don’t need perfect conditions—only determination and belief in your purpose. Every big change begins with a small step.”
We are truly proud to have been part of Wijdane’s journey. Her story is an inspiration to youth worldwide who dream of leading with purpose and creating real change.
