Fast Fashion: Turning Trends into Green Initiatives

Single-Use Plastics: Creative Recycling and Upcycling

Single-use Plastics Recycling: Collected and recycled plastics, launching an awareness campaign targeting the younger generation to reduce their carbon footprint and support sustainable products.

Plastic Conquerors Team from CIS, El Baragil, Awseem, Giza, Egypt:

Upcycling Plastics: Reused discarded plastic containers to build DIY air conditioners, providing a practical and sustainable solution for cooling.

The Plastic Girls Team from CLV Liceum Ogólnokształcące z Oddziałami Dwujęzycznymi, Poland:

Solution:
Centralized Recycling: Removed classroom bins and created recycling spots with crusher machines for plastic. Partnered with a recycling company for educational sessions on SUP and recycling.
Food Waste: From Awareness to Action
Leftovers Team from Bohaterki Powstania Warszawskiego High School, Poland:

Research: Identified areas for improvement in the school cafeteria.
Survey: Gauged knowledge about food waste among students.

Portion Control & Food Pyramid Education: Educated students on portion control and the food pyramid using fun and engaging methods.
