At Sınav College in Ankara, Türkiye, two young changemakers — İdil Aydın and Elif Çağla Ünal — are reminding us that creating a better world starts with small, consistent actions.

Their project, “Recycle Together, Save Tomorrow,” empowers students to build sustainable habits and understand that one simple act — like using the recycling bin correctly — can create a ripple effect of change.

Under the guidance of Coordinator Okan Ülker and Assistant Coordinators Recep Çelikel and Neslişah Bettencourt, Team Green Hands is leading an awareness campaign that combines education and action. Through presentations, decorations, and eco-themed posters, they’re helping classmates see that recycling isn’t just a rule — it’s a responsibility.

Activity Highlights

Title: Recycle Together, Save Tomorrow

Format: Awareness presentation and visual campaign

Objectives:

  • To raise awareness about recycling and its global importance.

  • To build lifelong eco-friendly habits in early ages.
