Project Title: “Hear Every Voice, Shape Our School’s Choice!”

Ahmet and Serdar are determined to make sure every student feels included, valued, and heard. Their project centers around a school-wide survey designed to capture what students love most about school activities, what they’d like to see improved, and how new opportunities can be created.


By collecting this feedback and presenting it directly to their principal and counseling teachers, they are giving students a real voice in shaping their school culture.


Objectives

  • Gather Student Input: Find out which activities students enjoy the most and where they see room for improvement.

  • Promote Student Agency: Encourage students to take an active role in decision-making.

  • Build Belonging: Ensure every student feels their opinions matter and contribute to school life.


Format & Materials

  • Digital/printed survey distributed to all secondary school students.

  • Collection and analysis of responses.

  • Presentation of findings to school leadership with constructive suggestions.


Sharing & Impact

  • Results will be shared with the school principal and counseling teachers.

  • Students’ voices will directly influence activity planning and improvements.

  • Inspires other schools to adopt democratic, student-led ways of shaping community life.


Target Group

Secondary school students, with opportunities for staff and leadership to engage in meaningful dialogue.

This activity highlights the core of Beyond Inclusion: Building Everyday Belonging by showing that belonging grows stronger when everyone’s voice counts.Ahmet and Serdar are not only encouraging their peers to express themselves but also modeling how change can be made in a democratic, respectful, and inclusive way.
