The WorldEd Foundation proudly spotlights Team Cezeri’s Girls — Irmak Yılmaz and Hafsa Sultan Kartın from Cezeri Green Technology Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Ankara, Türkiye — for their inspiring contribution to Milestone 1: My Story, My School, Our Voice in the United Voices 2025 Movement.
Under the guidance of their coordinator, Serpil Faiz, Irmak and Hafsa introduced their powerful initiative, “The Belonging in Cezeri: We Are a Family.” This project beautifully embodies the essence of belonging by transforming school life into a celebration of togetherness, diversity, and cultural awareness.
The students planned a school-wide activity where participants explore and present different European languages and cultures. Tables filled with traditional foods, colorful flags, and national costumes create a vibrant environment that celebrates inclusion through shared experiences. More than just a cultural fair, the project aims to remind every student that school is a family — one where everyone has a place, a story, and a contribution to make.
Their objective is simple yet profound:
To create a warm, welcoming school atmosphere where everyone feels seen.
To help students reflect on the meaning of belonging in daily life.
To foster understanding and unity through culture, food, and shared creativity.
In line with this year’s theme — “Beyond Inclusion: Building Everyday Belonging” — Irmak and Hafsa’s project highlights that belonging is not just a word, but a daily practice of togetherness, empathy, and respect.
WorldEd Foundation celebrates Team Cezeri’s Girls for inspiring us all with their vision of a school community where “We Are a Family.” 🌿✨
